BIO

Benjamin Noah (McCorquodale) believes art can heal our earth. Using the mediums of acrylic and oil paints he blends photorealism and surrealism to heal his soul and give hope to humanity.

After experiencing a spiritual awakening Benjamin has been driven to commit his life to preserve our earth and all living things using art as his tool. He travelled to Mongolia as part of the “Mother Ocean Eco Arts and Activism Tour” to help gain world heritage listing for the sacred Lake Khövsgöl.  Off the back of this, he founded “Be Cause Artivism”, a platform built to support artists who aim to effect positive change in the world. 30% of the profits from all artworks sold on the platform go towards the partnered causes and charities.

His latest piece features a scene from the day he was at the “Standing our Ground” blockade of the Adani Mine. The piece aims to raise funds and awareness for the movement and the protection of Wangan and Jagalingou country.

Trained in multiple mediums of art and sculpture from a young age, Benjamin won competitions and awards such as the Easter Arts Classic. He has been presenting his work at festivals and exhibitions in Australia and Internationally consistently over the last ten years. His work has varied in style but grows in it’s technical skill and meaningful content as he ages. He is still considered an emerging artist now, but his newest works are propelling him into the spotlight.

Benjamin resides in the hills outside his hometown of Mullumbimby where he is currently dreaming up new artworks to heal our earth. When he’s not painting he is co-parenting his greatest inspiration, his son Forest.
