This painting By Benjamin Noah was painted after his trip to the Adani blockade.
The painting depicts Nathan Baira, his totem is "Gundulu" the emu man. Gundulu stands in front of mining trucks that were stopped from entering the Adani mine on the first day of their "Standing Our Ground" blockade at the entrance.
30% of the profits of all the prints will go to the Wangan and Jaglingou in their stand to stop the Adani mine from desecrating their lands and threatening all that is beautiful in this world.
This painting was selected and hung as a finalist in the 2022 North Sydney Art Prize.
