His name is Gurridyula Gaba Wunggu and he is a member of the Wangan and Jagalingou tribe from Central Queensland, Australia. For over 600 days, he has been living in a tent and performing ceremonies at Waddananggu, located across from the Adani Carmichael mine. To convey their cause to the world, he has been recording his music in a small trailer.

Gurridyula is the foremost activist at Waddanaggu, he defends the country of the Wangan and Jagalingou and the future of all living things on this planet in his tireless defiance of the Adani/Bravus mine.
This painting shows him standing in front of Waddananggu, proud of his connection to his country and empowered by his warrior spirit.
